Privacy Policy

1. Scope and who we are

Patagonia Capital LLC (“Patagonia Capital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Stretchlet iOS application, stretchingapp.com, and related services (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies when you use the Services or communicate with us.

2. Information we collect

Account and identity information

When the app starts, Firebase may create a persistent anonymous account with a unique user identifier. If you choose to create an email account, we also process your email address, password through Firebase Authentication, and any name you add. We do not receive your plain-text password.

Preferences and activity

The app may process the goals, body areas, areas of caution, stretching experience, habit preference, reminder time and status, optional gender, and optional age or age range that you provide during onboarding. It also records routine activity such as exercises completed, duration, active days, streaks, favorites, and subscription status. These details help personalize routines, sync progress, and show your history.

Stretchlet is a general wellness app. Onboarding choices are not used to diagnose a condition and should not be used to submit detailed medical records.

AI requests and generated routines

If you use Stretchlet AI, we process the text you enter, language, requested duration and difficulty, filters, a request identifier, the generated routine, request status, timestamps, and remaining AI credits. Saved custom routines are stored locally on your device. A completed generated routine is also retained in the server request record so the app can safely recover or replay a completed request without charging another credit.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes your payment details. We receive subscription and transaction information such as product, entitlement status, trial or renewal events, purchase date, and related identifiers needed to unlock paid features, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and measure subscription performance. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

Device, usage, attribution, and diagnostic information

Depending on your settings and consent, the app and our providers may process device and app identifiers, IP address, device and operating-system details, app version, language, time zone, session and feature interactions, campaign and attribution information, purchase events, crash reports, and technical diagnostics. If you authorize App Tracking Transparency, the advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used for advertising attribution and measurement.

Reminders, feedback, and support

If you enable reminders, the app stores your chosen schedule and uses iOS notifications. If you submit feedback or contact support, we process the content of your message, rating, email address if supplied, and information needed to respond.

Website information

When you visit stretchingapp.com, our hosting and analytics providers may receive IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and cookie or similar identifiers. If you email us, we receive your email address and message. The website does not offer a separate user account or direct checkout.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• provide accounts, personalized routines, progress history, reminders, AI generation, credit recovery, and subscription access;
• authenticate users, secure the Services, prevent abuse, enforce usage limits, and troubleshoot failures;
• process and restore App Store purchases and operate trials or subscriptions;
• understand app and website use, fix crashes, test features, and improve performance and design;
• measure which advertising campaigns lead to installs, trials, and subscriptions when permitted;
• answer support messages and administer feedback;
• comply with law, protect users and our rights, and complete a corporate transaction if one occurs.

Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Stretchlet AI

Stretchlet AI uses an OpenAI model to choose from Stretchlet’s existing exercise library. Your free-text request and selected routine preferences are sent to OpenAI together with eligible exercise information. We set API requests not to store application state, but OpenAI may retain limited request content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its API data controls unless a different approved retention control applies. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the API customer explicitly opts in.

We use generated results only to provide the feature, validate safe output structure, enforce credits, recover completed requests, prevent duplicate charges, and address service problems. We do not use your AI request to build an advertising profile. Avoid including names, contact details, diagnoses, medical records, or other sensitive information in the prompt.

5. Service providers and sharing

We disclose information to providers that perform services for us. Their processing is governed by their terms, privacy notices, and our agreements with them.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to investigate fraud, security incidents, or violations; to protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information for money.

6. Analytics, cookies, and tracking

The app uses Firebase Analytics and Amplitude for product analytics, Firebase Crashlytics for diagnostics, and Adjust, Adapty, Apple attribution, and Meta tools for subscription and advertising measurement. These services may use app, device, purchase, and interaction identifiers as described above.

On iOS, Stretchlet requests permission before accessing the IDFA or allowing tracking as Apple defines it. If you decline, the IDFA is not provided. App functionality, first-party analytics, fraud prevention, aggregated attribution such as SKAdNetwork, and subscription operation may continue without the IDFA. You can change this choice in iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

The website uses Google Analytics and related cookies or local identifiers to understand traffic and page performance. You can limit cookies using your browser controls. Global Privacy Control or similar browser signals may limit applicable sale or sharing where required; because standards and browser behavior vary, you may also contact us directly.

7. Retention and security

We keep account, profile, progress, and AI credit or request records while needed to provide the Services, maintain security and transaction integrity, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Locally saved routines and settings remain on your device until you delete them, reset the app, or remove the app. Subscription and financial records may be retained for legal and accounting requirements. Analytics, attribution, crash, and support records are kept according to operational needs and provider retention settings.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access and encrypted network connections. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

• Account information: update account details in the app where available.
• Account deletion: use Delete Account in Account Settings. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Contact us if you also want us to locate and delete associated cloud records that remain for support, security, credit integrity, or legal reasons.
• Subscriptions: manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings.
• Notifications: change reminder choices in the app or disable notifications in iOS Settings.
• Tracking: deny or withdraw App Tracking Transparency permission in iOS Settings.
• Local data: delete saved AI routines in the app or remove the app to clear app data from that device, subject to iOS backups.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, and appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Send requests to support@stretchingapp.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children and international transfers

Stretchlet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can delete it. Users who have not reached the age of majority where they live should use the Services only with permission from a parent or guardian.

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws from your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Services or law changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Your continued use after an update means the revised policy applies from its effective date.
