How to do the routine.

How to do Crunch hold

Step 1 · 30 seconds

Crunch hold

  1. Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat.
  2. Tighten your abdomen and lift your head and shoulders slightly.
  3. Reach your arms toward your knees and hold.
  4. Lower slowly to release.
Helpful cue

Keep your lower back on the mat and your neck long.

Make it gentler

For less intensity, keep your head and shoulders closer to the mat and reach only a little.

How to do Bridge

Step 2 · 30 seconds

Bridge

  1. Lie on your back with knees bent and feet hip-width apart.
  2. Press through your feet to lift your hips.
  3. Hold with your shoulders, hips, and knees in one line.
  4. Lower slowly to the mat.
Helpful cue

Keep your knees facing forward and avoid arching your lower back.

Make it gentler

For less intensity, keep both feet on the floor and lift your hips only a little.

How to do Bicycle crunch hold

Step 3 · 60 seconds

Bicycle crunch hold

  1. Lie on your back with hands lightly behind your head.
  2. Lift your shoulders and bring one knee toward the opposite elbow.
  3. Extend your other leg and hold the twist.
  4. Release slowly and change sides.
Helpful cue

Rotate from your ribs; do not pull on your head.

Make it gentler

For less intensity, keep your head down and shorten the leg reach.

How to do Dead bug

Step 4 · 60 seconds

Dead bug

  1. Lie on your back with arms overhead and legs extended.
  2. Raise one arm toward the ceiling and bend the opposite knee above your hip.
  3. Keep the other arm and leg just off the mat.
  4. Return with control and change sides.
Helpful cue

Keep your lower back supported and make the movement smaller if it arches.

Make it gentler

For less intensity, move one arm or leg at a time and keep the other limbs supported.

How to do Bridge leg lift

Step 5 · 60 seconds

Bridge leg lift

  1. Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat.
  2. Lift your hips into a bridge.
  3. Extend one leg while keeping your hips level.
  4. Lower that foot, then change sides.
Helpful cue

Press through the supporting foot and avoid twisting your pelvis.

For less intensity, keep both feet on the floor and lift your hips only a little.

How to do Hand plank

Step 6 · 60 seconds

Hand plank

  1. Place your hands under your shoulders and extend your legs behind you.
  2. Press through your palms and toes.
  3. Hold your body in a straight line from head to heels.
Helpful cue

Keep your abdomen engaged and your gaze on the floor.

Make it gentler

For less intensity, lower both knees to the mat and keep both arms supported.

How to do Airplane

Step 7 · 60 seconds

Airplane

  1. Lie face down with your arms extended to the sides.
  2. Gently lift your chest, arms, and legs.
  3. Hold briefly, then lower with control.
Helpful cue

Look down and keep your neck in line with your back.

Make it gentler

For less intensity, lift only one arm or leg at a time and keep the lift low.

How to do Bird dog

Step 8 · 60 seconds

Bird dog

  1. Start on hands and knees.
  2. Reach one arm forward and the opposite leg back.
  3. Hold with your hips level and back long.
  4. Lower slowly and change sides.
Helpful cue

Reach outward rather than lifting high.

Make it gentler

For less intensity, move one limb at a time or slide your toes along the floor.
